Bring an existing draft in as chapters
Upload a DOCX, TXT, or Markdown file, or paste the text. Bookwiz proposes a chapter split that you can inspect, rename, or remove before creating the book. Word heading styles and Markdown headings guide the split; unheaded text imports as one chapter.
Import costs nothing extra but counts as one book toward the plan limit. Free allows three books.
Whole-manuscript context
Keep chapters and notes in the assistant's view
The assistant can use the manuscript, research, audience, and character notes when it drafts from notes, suggests rewrites, or responds to a chapter. The notes stay beside the book rather than inside the exported manuscript.
Outline and drafting
Turn an outline into a chapter-by-chapter writing room
Start with a book description and accept or edit the proposed chapter outline. Each chapter opens in a writing page with autosave, live word count, and progress toward a word goal.
KDP-ready exports
Export the interior and paperback cover
Every plan, including Free, exports DOCX, EPUB, print-ready PDF, and a full-wrap paperback cover. Spine width is calculated from page count and varies by paper stock.
