For authors and app creators
Suggest an app.
Help authors discover great AI apps. We welcome suggestions from people who build apps and authors who use them.
If you’re looking for a place to list your AI app, our directory focuses on tools for writing and the work around a book.
What belongs in the directory
We want to help authors discover great apps and raise the quality of creative work. We look for a clear, useful role in an author’s work, with product information we can check.
- Develop stories, research, draft and edit.
- Create artwork, audio, video and translations.
- Reach readers and manage an author business.
An app can serve one of these needs well. It doesn’t have to do everything or be made exclusively for authors.

What we don’t include
We don’t list apps built around push-button, mass-generated book publishing or flooding stores with low-effort books. We welcome AI assistance, including creative generation that authors can direct, develop and review.
Suggestions give us apps to consider. We review their relevance to authors and the available product information. Sending a suggestion does not guarantee inclusion.
