Scenario design
Define the story's world and style
The scenario editor has separate fields for plot, setting, characters, locations, objects, and style. A premise can stay loose or extend into a detailed outline, while openings and examples demonstrate the voice and format to the model.
Each story session receives its own editable scenario copy. Character descriptions and plot notes can change with the draft, so the standing context can reflect developments already written.
Instruction-led draft
Direct each continuation
Story blocks contain both authored and generated prose. Separate instruction blocks guide the next passage's events, pacing, or style. Continue uses the scenario and recent story; text remains editable, with Rewind and Undo controls.
Revision, chat, and role-play
-
Work with another set of possible directions
-
Next-step suggestions offer alternative story beats. Usually a selection becomes an instruction that can be edited before continuing; a setting can make selections generate immediately. Suggested options can also be regenerated or rewritten.
-
Keep alternate branches and take the story out
-
Clone a session to retain one version while developing another. Markdown exports readable story text; JSON backs up a session for later import.
-
Discuss the draft in Writing Assistant
-
A separate chat supports brainstorming and rewriting using the scenario and the latest story portion. Context is finite; the oldest story text can fall out of view.
-
Move between prose and character interaction
-
The same platform supports multi-character role-play and story mode. Scenario-defined characters and world details can therefore support interactive fiction as well as a prose draft.
