A country offered for outside sale must also list the audiobook on Google Play there, and its outside list price cannot exceed the Google Play price.

Build an audio edition from the published EPUB
Choose a title offered by your Google Play account and a supported digital narrator. The program covers seven ebook languages, including Hindi and Brazilian Portuguese; publisher-country eligibility applies. Generation and publication have no program fee during the beta.
Direct pronunciation, pauses, and character speech
The editor supports a default narrator, character voices, pronunciation changes, and speed or pause adjustments. You can play selected text to review a passage. Phonetic changes address pronunciation; Google's guidance says they do not add emphasis.

Google permits downloads for sales on other book platforms. Those countries must also have the edition for sale on Google Play, whose list price cannot be higher. This makes the export useful, while keeping the outside release tied to the Google Play listing.

Recorded requirements and limits
- Requires audiobook rights, an EPUB ebook offered by your account on Google Play, and a publisher based in one of the supported countries or regions.
- Supported ebook languages are English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Generation and publication have no program fee during beta. Downloaded editions sold elsewhere must also be sold on Google Play in those countries, at a Google Play list price no higher than the other retail price.
- Other retailers decide whether they accept the downloaded AI narration; the Google download option does not establish acceptance.
