Usage & termsCredits and rights vary by outputPublished commercial terms conflict
The current credit guide says free Basic output is noncommercial, while paid-plan advertising and the published user policy differ; confirm the applicable licence before a book promotion.
Model, duration, resolution, and audio affect credit cost. Reference consistency and generated likeness are not guaranteed.
Build reusable reference elements
The Element Library accepts image or video references for subjects. Supported character elements can include a voice reference, bringing a recurring person’s appearance and speech into the same generation workflow.
These inputs help guide recurring subjects across shots. They remain model-specific controls, and do not establish exact likeness, costume, or scene continuity in every result.
Animate an illustration with a planned destination
Image to Video uses artwork as the basis for movement. Supported models accept starting and ending frames, while motion controls give further direction to how the subject moves.
Describe a sequence of shots in one generation
Video 3.0 supports multi-shot generation and a custom mode with descriptions and durations for individual shots. The documented duration range is 3–15 seconds, allowing several brief views to be planned as one sequence.
Audio, cost, and commercial access
-
Generate dialogue with the picture
-
Video 3.0 supports native audio and dialogue in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Speaker and voice-reference controls depend on the model; the same language and audio capabilities do not apply to every Kling mode.
-
Keep planning and generated media together
-
Canvas and the video agent bring script development, storyboard work, and generation nodes into a shared workspace. Individual shots can be developed as part of the larger trailer structure.
-
Distinguish free output from commercial access
-
The current credit guide describes free Basic output as non-commercial and lists commercial use and watermark removal on paid subscriptions. The user policy also contains branding and written-consent conditions that should be reconciled with the chosen plan before publication.
