Turn the script into an editable storyboard
Script to Video creates scenes from supplied text or an article URL. The text summary can be changed, and each scene’s selected image or footage can be replaced, including with the author’s own assets.
The author can keep an excerpt or narration connected to its visuals while revising the storyboard.
Use the author’s recorded narration
Uploaded voice recordings can provide the starting point for a video. Pictory analyzes the audio, builds accompanying visuals, and generates synchronized captions, with uploaded images, clips, and music available alongside generated options.
Minutes, credits, and project retention
-
Finish a recognizable video presentation
-
Themes supply fonts, colors, and animations, while brand settings add a logo, intro, and outro. Music and voiceover can be selected or supplied before previewing and downloading the assembled MP4.
-
Pull highlights from a longer recording
-
The highlights workflow detects sections of uploaded long footage and lets the user choose moments. Clips can be refined for pacing, captions, layout, and the destination’s aspect ratio.
-
Keep minutes and generation credits separate
-
Plans have distinct video-minute, AI-generation, voice, and storage allowances. The current trial lasts 14 days; paid plans include 1080p video downloads and caption or transcript exports, with limits set by the tier.
-
Keep stock material within its video licence
-
Pictory’s licensed stock visuals and audio may be used in Pictory-created videos. They cannot be extracted for standalone use, printed products, logos, or resale templates. A stock scene licensed for a promotional video is therefore not automatically available as book-cover art.
