Move from the overview into the source

A flashcard presents key concepts, highlights, a structured summary and important points, with navigation into relevant sections. Extracted figures, tables and the original text provide routes beyond the condensed account.

Scholarcy is designed around research articles and individual book chapters. It needs accessible text; a paywalled paper has to be obtained and imported before it can be summarized.

Change the summary’s level and focus

Enhanced summaries offer reading styles ranging from an accessible overview to a researcher-level account, or a focus on chosen topics. Import settings can control summary length, section structure and extracted figures.

This lets the same source serve an initial scan and a more focused reading pass. The rewritten synopsis and enhanced modes use English even when some original-language sections are retained.

Keep the author’s notes with the reading

Saved flashcards support searchable notes, highlights and edited text. Collections organize the cards for continuing research; saving and these organization features belong to the paid plan.

Export the reading work and its references

Paid access adds bulk export of up to one hundred flashcards, literature-matrix creation and bibliographies. Flashcard notes can travel with exports, and extracted references can be exported separately.
