Author Mode reads the manuscript and drafts a guide covering characters, recurring terminology, audience, tone, and style. You can revise that guide, add instructions, and supply a reference translation before the book is translated.

Return to the book's original file format

Supported files include EPUB, Word documents, HTML, and InDesign IDML. The service inserts translated text into native files and returns the translated format, with conversion options available. PDF text is extracted and the layout rebuilt; IDML frames do not automatically reflow for longer translated text.

Preview, proofread, and return the source format

Standard and Pro previews are free; an Author Mode preview costs €5. The full project has a one-time quote based on length, structure, language, and mode. Author Mode adds deeper analysis and takes longer than the other modes.
