Revise prose with its subject in view

Grammar and language checks cover sentence structure, word choice, technical spelling, and formal style. Domain dictionaries recognize terminology in areas such as medicine, engineering, economics, and the social sciences. Subject and document settings, US or UK English, and paid academic style-guide options can make the suggestions more relevant to the manuscript being prepared.

Lite focuses on basic corrections; paid Power Mode adds more substantial grammar and style improvements. These editing modes are documented for English.

Bring recurring forms into agreement

Consistency Check groups variations in spelling, hyphens and dashes, written-out numbers, symbols, spacing, accented characters, and figure or table labels. It also checks statistical notation such as p-values. An author chooses the form to retain, giving a technical or research-heavy book a practical way to address small discrepancies that accumulate across chapters.

The feature page places Consistency Check in the Cloud editor and says it does not consume credits.

Return the edit as a file to review

Proofread File accepts Word and LaTeX manuscripts and supplies a report of language revisions. Paid plans provide an editable file with tracked changes and explanatory comments, so corrections can be accepted or rejected in a compatible word processor. LaTeX processing also provides a Word version showing the edits.

Basic results are read-only. File proofreading uses one credit for every 5,000 words, so a book can require several credits even when writing assistance is unrestricted.

Paraphrasing, citations, and technical checks

Compare wording and examine an argument

Paraphraser supplies multiple alternatives and shows the changes made to the original. The optional AI-assisted writing tools can continue supplied text, draft from notes, rewrite a passage, or analyze an argument's assumptions. These provide another level of revision for an explanation's wording and reasoning.

Standard paraphrasing is available on Basic; other modes and AI-writing request allowances depend on the plan.

Inspect the references behind the prose

Citation Quality Check flags issues such as retracted studies, duplicate references, entries it cannot verify, and possible overuse of one journal. For a research-based nonfiction project, this can direct attention to references that deserve another look. A flagged or older source still needs an author's judgment about its role and relevance.

Add research-submission checks when they apply

Technical Checks reviews research-manuscript elements such as headings, length, references, figures and tables, authorship details, and required declarations. It also offers journal-scope matching. This is a specialized supporting tool for authors preparing scholarly papers alongside a book; its report is a checklist to compare with the publication's actual requirements.

Each report consumes one credit and stays in Trinka Cloud; the feature FAQ says the report cannot currently be downloaded.
